Research Focus

  • I am interested in analyzing how incomes in emerging markets can be made to converge overtime by changing the underlying set of conditions that engender the haves and have-nots. I am further interested in researching disparities in regional economic development and impediments to growth and what policies can be enacted to remove developmental differentials. As a Junior Economic researcher I had previously researched NAFTA’s trade policies within the existing trade dynamics of Mexico, USA and Canada. Furthermore, I was tasked with assessing the impact of NAFTA’s policies on the oil & gas sector and agricultural commodities grown in Oklahoma.
